Anushka is an actor and producer in Bollywood. She is among the most highly paid actress in Bollywood and she was awarded awards for her efforts. Anushka's modelling career began at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. She has since done various campaigns, such as those with Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka began an acting course and started auditioning for films along with her modeling career. Anushka made her debut acting in the year 2008 with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. For her screen test, she was not willing to take the test in a hurry and instead spent one day to get ready. Then she was offered three films by Yash Raj Films. She was a young wife to an actor of middle age (Shah Rukh Khan) in the movie. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was seen along with Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The movie got mixed reviews. That same year Anushka Sharma appeared in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat' along with Ranveer Singh in the role of a middle-class Punjabi girl who launches her own business of wedding planning. The film received a positive review and turned out to be a surprise hit. Anushka finished her deal of three films with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
