Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists. He was a part of the legendary film Shottas opposite another singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records in 1996 where he released his first album With Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, like Judge Not with Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. Each of them contributed to the rising popularity of Ky among the younger generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell of Fugees on Avenue in 1997, which was a hugely popular cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was the first artist to perform at Midem a world-class music showcase that was held in Miami. In the Cameo Theatre Marley performed a show that was broadcast live by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bidding war. ...
